Wedding cards, visiting cards, flex banners and photos in Kathua can now play a video. ScanPlay links your video to the printed picture, so anyone who points a phone at it sees the video on the print.
Works everywhere in Kathua and the towns around it. Everything runs on the phone, so there is nothing to install and nowhere to visit.
What people in Kathua make with ScanPlay
- Packaging and labels: how to use it, recipes and brand stories on the box
- Greeting cards: birthday, festival and thank-you cards with a video message
- Photo albums: wedding and event albums where every photo plays its clip
- Wedding cards that play a video: the couple's pre-wedding shoot or invitation message plays on the printed card
- Visiting cards with a video: shop owners, doctors and agents in Kathua introduce themselves, with a Call or WhatsApp button
- Flex banners and hoardings: shop openings, offers and events in Kathua play a video on the flex
How it works
- Upload your photo: the picture you will print, like a wedding card, visiting card, poster or flex.
- Add your video: ScanPlay links it to the photo and gives you a QR code to print.
- Point the phone, it plays: scan the QR or open scanplay.in and point the camera at the print. The video plays right on it, with sound.
See it work: one phone shows the photo, the other points the ScanPlay camera at it, and the video plays on the photo. Want to try on a real print? Open the gallery on a computer and point your phone at any photo with Play a photo.
Print it at any shop in Kathua
ScanPlay works with the printing you already use in Kathua: offset, digital, flex or a photo lab. Nothing changes for the printer. The photo, card or banner is printed as usual, and the video plays from ScanPlay when a phone points at it.

Questions from Kathua
Where can I get AR video printing in Kathua?
Make it yourself on scanplay.in in about 2 minutes, then print it at any printing press, flex printer or photo studio in Kathua. ScanPlay partners (photographers, event managers and print shops) can also make it for you.
Do people in Kathua need an app to watch the video?
No. They scan the ScanPlay QR printed with your photo, or open scanplay.in and tap Play a photo. The camera opens in the phone browser on iPhone and Android and the video plays on the print.
Can I try it free in Kathua?
Yes. Tap Try free, add a photo and a video and see it play. You get 2 free credits every day to test; a photo made with free credits plays for 24 hours from its first scan. For prints that keep playing, a personal photo uses 1 credit; business and advertising prints use more.

Wedding and function invitations, visiting cards, photos and frames, flex banners, posters, pamphlets, brochures, newspaper ads, menu cards, packaging and greeting cards: anything with a clear picture.
I run a print shop or photo studio in Kathua. Can I offer this?
Yes. Become a ScanPlay distributor or promoter and offer video printing to your customers with no new machine. See AR printing for print shops and studios.
